Pneumatic Elevator for Built-in Bathtubs and Spas

 

 
install1Unpack the bathtub.
On the front of the bathtub, on the frame, free the compressed air tube
and the steel tie rod from the ties.
Leave the tie rod free under the bathtub.
When positioning the bathtub in place, pass the compressed air tube
in the box planned by installation.

The tube has a faucet with a female 1/4” pitch gas coupling.
Place the compressor coupling on this (not supplied)

 
 
 
 
 

 

install3To lift the bathtub, connect the tube to a compressor.
Pressurise the circuit.
Open the faucet.
Wait for the bathtub to rise completely and that the holding
mechanical hook clicks on the base of the lift connected to the bathtub.
Close the faucet.
Disconnect the compressor.
Again, open the faucet for 2-3 seconds, to pressurise the lift holding mechanism.


 

install4To lower the bathtub, connect the air tube on the bathtub to the compressor.
Pressurise the circuit.
Open the tap to enable the lift holding mechanism to release: the bathtub
will rise 2-3 centimetres.
Disconnect the compressor.
Pull the steel tie rod as you open the faucet on the tube for 2-3 seconds.
Open the faucet.
Leave the tie rod free under the bathtub.
Open the faucet again and leave the bathtub to lower to the end of stroke.
Close the faucet.
